“Double date” as it were. Fred, John, Alice and I played cards then went out in the snow to the drug store to find it closed. Then I went out in the kitchen to get F and G a drink of water. Those few moments we were alone in the dining room! The snow prevented you from climbing. Why did I give you the reward? For your promotion! I am so proud of you. I will never forget the last Saturday we were out in the snow together.
