Today, recognize all the ways you are being supported. Someone paved your street and built your car. Someone grew and packaged your food. Someone taught you to read. Someone planted the trees you love along the edge of the road. Someone sewed your clothes. Someone programmed your phone. See this as evidence that you are more loved, supported, and upheld than your realize. See for the evidence everywhere.
Your beauty comes from your divine qualities, your warmth and creativity and generosity and tenderness and courage and intelligence. Beauty is your native state. Today, feel your beauty. Accept it as a gift and as your nature. Consciously look for the beauty in others.
Today, feel the presence of Love as the Divine Organizer, providing structure to your thoughts, order to your days, clarity in the midst of confusion. If necessary, pause to feel and trust this Divine Organizer doing its work before you do the next thing.
Today, feel Love loving you with fierce, unconditional love. The awareness of the power and depth of this love helps keep in perspective any challenges to the ego, any criticism or self-doubt. Feel this same Love loving those around you, permeating every molecule of their being.
In the book of John in the Bible, it states, "We shall all be taught of God." Today, trust the accurate and specific ways Love is educating you for your health, wellness, relationships, career, etc.. Acknowledge that same wise and active Love educating, right now--in just the way they can understand--those you love or those upon whom your concern rests.
For those of us prone to self-doubt, excruciating self-examination, and a tendency to take too much responsibility for others, consider the radical possibility that you may be doing everything right. To counter undermining voices of doubt, say to yourself, "I am just the right person for this job," or "I am skilled at friendship," or "I am a wise and loving partner."
Psalms 4:4 says, " . . . commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still." Today, take moments to be still. Check in your thoughts and feelings. Pause. Feel the presence of Love embracing you. This is more essential than anything on your to do list.
Today, you have Love-bestowed authority: authority to handle fear or repetitive thoughts, authority to find inner stillness, authority to recognize the truth, authority to speak with courage and calm. Claim and express your authority.
From Wayne Muller's Legacy of the Heart:
Every day we live, each moment, offers a fresh opportunity to be more gently loving with ourselves and others. We begin by learning to belong in the sanctuary of our own breath, to feel more at home in our own bodies, more confident in our rightful place as a member of the human family. This enables us to accept wholeheartedly ourselves and others just as we are, thereby planting the seeds of a genuine, secure experience of belonging.
Today, Love is conscious of and attending to every molecule of your being. No part of you is hidden, secret, left out, or neglected by Love. Rest in this care. Acknowledge this same care attending to all those around you.
