Don't let your ego convince you either that you are superhuman and have transcended those requirements - or that you are not important enough for that kind of care and the needs and demands of others - or your ambitions - come first.
Today, go back to the basics, like you would with a toddler. A toddler who is melting down might need alone time, to slow down, to run around outside, to play with a friend, a snack, a nap. We might imagine that we have outgrown those needs, but often our lack of basic care for ourselves magnifies all our other difficulties.
