The holidays can bring up many emotions, which we often try to handle by controlling: by fretting over a long to do list, by having lots of opinions and judgments, by trying to manage others and ourselves. Today, instead of trying to control, feel a deep sense of patience. Be deeply patient with yourself, your reactions and fears and missteps. Be deeply patient with others: their quirks and peculiar habits and mysterious reactions. Today, pause, and feel how deeply precious you are to Love, just as you are.
