Instead, begin by knowing yourself and others as wrapped in Love, as Love's beloved. Trust Love as a wise, guiding parent fully capable of caring for its own creation. This Love reveals to each of us our true, divine nature, which includes our gifts and purposes, and gently brings to awareness traits and habits which do not serve us - and leads us to address them in Love's own way. This does not mean we never confront others, make an effort to improve ourself, or deal with injustice. It does mean that we begin with Love first - and do our best to let go of mere human opinions and justifications.
The human consciousness keeps itself very busy accusing and excusing.* We spend much of our mental energy accusing - standing in judgment, comparing, and forming opinions - often negative - about ourselves or others. On the flip side, often in response to the guilt or discomfort we feel accusing, we make excuses for ourselves and others. We justify or minimize faults or failings. Rarely do either of these states of consciousness lead to healing or transformation.
