Give your body unconditional love. Children can only really hear and grow from correction when they feel unconditionally loved. Likewise, your body will whither with a constant barrage of criticism, fear, and disappointment. Maybe you could eat better or move more; maybe you struggle with pain; most of us wish we were more beautiful. But you must begin with unconditional love. Pour it on your body. Be loving, generous, consistent in your love. Maybe even move your thought around to different parts of your body, embracing them in love. Maybe give each part of your body a blessing: May you be happy, may you be well, may you be free from suffering.
