Today, give yourself permission to feel the fullness of your feelings - just feel them, where they are in your body, the sensation of them. Notice your tendency to "get all up in your head" about your feelings - to belittle or dramatize them: to make excuses or justify yourself or others, to blame or shame yourself or others, to get caught in a story. If you just accept feelings with tender gentleness and compassion, they will stay in proper proportion and most likely teach you something.
