Today, acknowledge sadness you might feel about suffering, in all its many forms. This does not mean you replace your mental to do list with a list of sufferings over which to fret. It means actually acknowledging the feeling of sadness as it arises. How does it feel in your heart and body? You don't need to get stuck in sadness, cherishing it. At this stage, you don't have to try and fix anything. Just notice you feel sad. Let the sadness stay as long as it wants - without clinging to it or pushing it away. Let it move at its own natural pace through you.
This will allow you to be more in the present moment and act with clarity, wisdom, and self-knowledge.
