Had a marvelous date tonight. We went down to see "The Cat and the Canary." Very spooky, funny, and well acted - in spots - altogether enjoyable picture. I arrived over at the Scott's at 6:30 - just an hour earlier than usual. I did so in order to get to the (?) Theater in time to see the show. When we reached home we found everyone in excellent humor. The family went off to bed early. And - we discussed the possibility of our marriage at a near date - well -
