"B" BATTERY - This battery, either dry or wet, is a means of storing electricity of sufficient voltage to supply the plate of a vacuum tube. The standard voltages of the dry B better are 22 1/2 volts and 45 volts.
CAPACITY - The amount of energy which a condenser can store up, measured in microfarads (mfd).
CONTINUOUS WAVE - The form of wave which has a constant amplitude; used in radio telephony.
