The human mind likes to rank and to define its worth by comparing itself others: more or less attractive, successful, creative, funny, generous, intuitive, logical, responsible, spiritual, skilled, etc. Today, instead of ranking and comparing, enjoy and celebrate the way Love shines through us all, the ways Love touches the universe through animals, plants, sunshine, and the many talents of those around us. Talents, your and others, are Love's way of loving the universe. Say thank you for the gifts!

Today, you don't need to waffle in indecision. Love is speaking to you directly, right now, and gives you the ability to hear. Love also gives you the ability to follow through on any of Love's ideas. Know that Love is speaking to you, listening in you, and acting through you.
Much of our concept of ourselves is not self-generated or accurate, but comes from our culture and upbringing - beliefs about gender, age, ethnicity, appearance, personality - and much of it is wrong. Today let Love define you. Open your thoughts to what Love is telling you about you.
Today, wrap your body in Love. Actively send your own love to any places of discomfort. Feel Love itself holding your body. If you have fears about your body, today, instead of problem solving about them, just love. Let go of any opinions or judgments or criticisms about your body. Now is not the time for that -- just love, love, love. The food and care your body most needs in love.
Today, know that there is a higher, more complete authority than the opinion, even of the most thoroughly trained experts. Today, recognize that human knowledge is incomplete. Although experts can be helpful, don't give all your trust to them. Lean on Love, whose answers sometimes contain surprises and who is communicating to you, right now, what you need to know, moment by moment.
In The Compassionate-Mind Guide to Overcoming Anxiety, Dennis Tirch writes,
"Self-compassion involves three primary elements: self-kindness, awareness of our common humanity, and mindful awareness. It has been shown that higher levels of self-compassion have been found to correlate with lower levels of depression and anxiety. Such research has also demonstrated positive correlations between self-compassion and a range of other desirable experiences, such as enhanced life satisfaction, feelings of social connectedness, a sense of personal initiative, and other positive emotions." Be still and listen to Love, who reveals to us what most needs our attention - and it's often not whatever is swirling in our mind right now. We have deeper needs and purposes than our surface thoughts recognize. Underneath our busy to do lists and plans, we have the need for connection, for rest, for communion, for creative expression, for play, for healing, for the opportunity to be of genuine service. Love gives you the ears to hear the true need of the moment.
Love is speaking to you right now. Love has also given you the ears, the intuition, to hear.
Expand your purposes for prayer. Prayer is not merely a tool we use in hopes of defending ourselves from harm, avoiding suffering, and attracting good into our lives. Prayer is much bigger. Prayer is aligning with Love's activity, which serves all of creation. Today in your prayers, expand your perspective and goals. Feel Love's presence. Ask to participate in Love's activities, to humbly be Love's witness and worker in the world.
Feel Love as the wise, benevolent Authority in your life. Love has authority over your thoughts, your body, your relationships, your schedule, your work. Yield to Love loving order and perspective.
