Today, feel Love as a power and a presence meeting each person's need, as well as your own. Let go of rigid outlines of how you think things should be. Let Love surprise you.
Today, Love is a presence closer than air. This Love communicates to you, in clear ways you can understand, your own worth. This Love also gives you eyes to see the worth in others, and the ability to forgive and understand them, while still honoring yourself.
Love is not a standard you can't live up to. Love is a best friend who walks with you all day. This best friend adores you. This best friend keeps you company. This best friend reminds you of all your strengths. This best friend reveals to you, with tenderness and without any condemnation or blame, any ignorance or mistakes. This best friend problem-solves with you.
Invite Love into each of your conversations today. As you communicate with others through writing, speaking, or just being present, feel Love with you, as an active part of the conversation, communicating to each of you your value.
Today, feel Compassion as your companion. Compassion is your best friend, keeping you company today, whispering kind and comforting words to you. See yourself through the eyes of Compassion. See others through the eyes of Compassion.
Today, use this loving kindness meditation/prayer: "May I be happy, may I be well, may I be free from suffering." During the day, pause and repeat until you feel your genuine well-wishing for yourself, supported by Love itself, filling your being.
Today, listen for Love's pacing. Sometimes it will urge you to move more quickly than you have been, to face what you have been avoiding. More likely, it will instruct you to slow down, to let go of an agenda item, to remember that your job is to live fully and with attention in your life and to be present with those around you.
Today, Love itself defends you from thoughts and habits that are self-destructive. Feel this active and wise power in your life. Trust it.
Today, in order to cultivate more stillness and slow down, leave yourself more time than you think you need to do the activities you have planned. If you need to make a choice between rushing to get something done and letting it go until later, let it go.
Today, let go of stories that your mind is generating about the future. Feel the presence of intelligent Love communicating to you all that you need to know and do for this moment, for today. That is enough.
